It was year August 1977 that saw the birth of an educational institution in the 6th phase of J.P. Nagar to commit itself to serve the cause of education. That was the IMAGE SCHOOL OF ART – CULTURE which manages Image English School. The residents of J. P. Nagar were very much in need of educational institution which would be accessible, affordable, parent friendly, ethical and would happily handle the scholastic needs of the residents. Mr. P. V. Ravindranath was duly qualified to be a teacher and he is a cut-out class room teacher. He possesses B. Sc, B. Ed and Master graduate in Hindi. He had a vision of bringing up an ideal school which should be open to people of all class, creed and sex. He had the right support to manage it with Smt. Padma Ravindranath. At the time, where there was least availability of basic infrastructure and with the greatest of the financial constraints, Mr. and Mrs. P V R were able to drive through and carry the vision of their own.

Image began its journey with 23 students on board. In the year 1978, Nursery wing of the school started. By 1985, it became a full-fledged school with nursery and primary section. High school wing started in the year 1995 and the first batch of SSLC was in the year 1998.   From Secretary’s Desk “Little drops make a mighty ocean!”

As the saying goes, the Image School of Art and Culture contributes its little share in serving the society in the field of education to provide befitting personalities to the society for the upliftment of the nation. In this pretext, Image English School was established in the year 1979 to cater the education needs of the children of J P Nagar during the time when there were no basic facilities to pursue their studies. With good performance with its Nursery units, which upgraded to a primary unit in 1985 with the permission of Government of Karnataka to run a school in English medium. In years to come, it became popular for quality education and discipline. It got 100% results in 7th Public examination. This motivated the organization to come with the idea of starting a high school unit and with the permission of the Govt of Karnataka, it started its high school unit in 1998. Since then, it was successful in scoring above 90% results in board examinations. From the year 2013-14, the school has been pursuing 100% results in SSLC board examination. All this has been possible as a result of continuous efforts by the teachers and students, with strict governance of the school authorities and with the cooperation by our parents.
